7.What is peak detecting mode

Legacy camera will wash out to white color while taking image of very strong light spot such as traffic lamp.

Mintron 63V1 instead will keep perfect color of traffic lamp while recording license plate of a car during day and night.

A:     Peak detecting mode is a way to determine exposure index by brightest spot of the image instead of average value of the whole image. Using this algorithm user can conquer the most demanding situation such as taking an image during the night toward a bright spot and still want to see the detail and color of the small bright spot.
This is very useful while using camera to catch license plate of the car and still want to see the color of the traffic light during the night.

More:Legacy camera have only video iris feature. hence very  expensive lenses with auto iris function need to be used. Recently DC control auto iris lenses become main stream it is inexpensive yet still have almost the same function as video iris lenses except peak detecting mode.
Mintron 63V1 have very sophisticated Auto Iris mode that surpass all legacy technology. The camera will take incoming image and calculate the exposure by 4 mode,  namely

48 Zone automatic  ( Artificial intelligent )
48 zone manual      ( Full manual programmable )
Average
Peak detecting mode
programmable Percentage weighting of  Average and peak value We will cover other mode on other article ....

However in this article we will concentrate on the peak detecting mode
