Jaguar The Super Wide dynamic camera |

Mintron's new 20 MIPS DSP M88 has made wide dynamic camera inexpensive and affordable, hence from now on Wide dynamic camera is become part of our daily life, and no longer as high technology gear for rich big corp. | |

4th December 2000Mintron have successfully developed a new Super wide Dynamic camera with all the dream feature that you may expecting for.
Jaguar 63W1
with
Using Mintron proprietary DSP M-88 first time in the world a super wide dynamic camera with 100 times more dynamic range and 50 times more smear rejection ratio then ordinary legacy camera become available on very affordable price.
The camera using double exposure technology to give a long exposure on the range of 1/2 to 1/120 sec for dark zone and 1/120 to 1/120,000 for bright zone, hence image with very strong contrast will have perfect exposure for both bright and dark zone . Two picture then merged by super DSP to create a very nature image as if seeing from a human eye. The overall static range of exposure can be controlled by an auto IRIS lens to further expand the static range for another 20,000 time. A total of 1,600,000 times of exposure range makes this camera very suitable to handle from direct sun light ( 1,200,000 lux) to a star night (0.015 lux ) . Legacy CCD camera normally having 1:3 dynamic range, this is much lower then 1:1000 of human eye. Mintron Alpha series camera (54B0 , 54C0 , 53D0, 6368 ........ ) having more then twice better dynamic range then legacy camera as 1:7 But it still not as good as human eye. However Mintron's new super dynamic camera Jaguar 63W1 have much wider range, It's provide 1:280 Dynamic range This range is better then all other famous wide dynamic camera on market. And Jaguar give you more
Super smear rejection mode By using digital Smear cancellation technology, this camera is having 154 dB smear rejection ratio, which is 34to 46dB or 50 to 200 times better then legacy camera that having only 95 to 110 dB rejection ratio. You can now drive this camera to as high as 1/120,000 sec. shutter speed and still won't see smear. This is much better then legacy camera that will start to have smear and blooming from 1/2,000 sec and up. and become useless for the range of 1/3000 till 1/100,000 sec. Many customer found that This super smear rejection function is even more exciting then wide dynamic function . Because it is really very useful and is a technology that first time be invented by human been.
Star light mode You can still see through 0.015 lux
Super S/N ratio In heritage from Alpha family it is still astonishing 60dB
Vertical reverse mode Will let you manipulate your image with easy. This is a nice feature while using this camera with a speed dome for overhead tracking. Thank to the two 16 Mb memory and software that make this function become available..
horizontal reverse mode is very useful for mirror image that is required on a car for back view application.
On screen display and control bottom will provide very easy control to many function of the camera through 5 push bottom and on screen display. such as:
and many many others........
The output signal including NTSC/PAL composite and S-VHS Y /C video.
If installed with an auto iris lens the camera will be able to see from 1,200,000 lux to 0.0035 lux, ranging from direct sun light to star light . and having lovely 280:1 super wide dynamic range.
As this camera can work on the range of 1 sec. to 1/120,000 shutter speed without trouble of smear as that legacy camera will encountered, Hence the static dynamic range of this camera is naturally become 3000 time better then other legacy camera. Many customer found that 63W1 can be using outdoor without an auto iris lens and still providing excellent image. However it is recommended to use a auto iris lens as if you want to enjoy the full feature of the superb instantaneous dynamic range of this high-tech-camera.
